Slope stability analisys on AutoCAD
AEC Slope is a CAD based design software for checking and reporting safety factors on a proposed bank section drawn on AutoCAD platform. Earth embankments are widely used for roads, railways, river training works, canal embankments, dams, etc. The main economy and safety of these works can be accomplished by adopting proper and economical methods of design. Failure of these structures results in loss of life and damages to property. It may also result in damage and/or washout of the structure fully or partially. AEC Slope is used for analyzing stability of slopes for the above structures and reporting safety factors. The most important cause of failure is by sliding. It may occur slowly or suddenly and with or without fore-warning. Such a failure causes a portion of the earth fill to slide downwards and outwards with respect to the remaining part generally along a well-defined slide surface. It is, therefore, necessary that the designer takes special care to eliminate any possibility of such a failure. These results can be cross verified /proof checked from the AutoCAD drawing for any number of sample checks or in a batch check when the data is exported to Excel file and formulas are fed to relevant excel cells. AEC Slope automatically reads the Drawing objects drawn in 2D poly lines. AEC Slope works on Draw Down and Steady Seepage on Up-Stream and Down-Stream respectively with and without earthquake. AEC Slope automatically identifies Zones above or below phreatic line or submerged to compute driving and resisting forces. In determining the stability of the proposed slope it is necessary to try many different circles as one trial arc gives the value of factor of safety for that arc only. The circle which yields the minimum value of factor of safety is the most critical. Theoretically it is necessary to try an infinite number of possible failure circles with different centres and radii before the most critical one giving lowest accepted factor of safety may be located. After trying numerous failure circles under various combinations of radii and locus settings if the lowest value of factor of safety is acceptable the profile of the section needs no changes and the assumed profile shall be considered adequate from considerations of stability.

Quantity Estimation and 3D model for Buildings from AutoCAD 2D drawings
A building quantity and cost manager that automatically captures graphic data from AutoCAD drawings, categorizes, stores them in tables and works out quantities element wise and level wise for your analysis, planning, scheduling and procurement. Task formatting is done as per industry specific requirements. is the simplest and quickest innovative 3D Quantity Manager to understand any kind of AutoCAD drawing plan and capture data, do routine design, draw 3D on AutoCAD and do more for you. AEC Buildings 2009 does your major routine drafting job while freeing you to concentrate more on other priority assignment like data verification, checks and over all view of the project design, implementation and monitoring. AEC Buildings is a powerful CAD product. Its interface resembles those of other products for Windows: it features menus with commands, toolbars with buttons, dialogs, and windows in which you complete tasks. Project is a single database of information for a building information model. The project file contains all information for a building design, from geometry to construction data. This information includes components used to design the model and necessary data to draw your model on AutoCAD drawings. A software to convert 2d drawing to 3d model. A software to automatically Setup drawing Wizard, determine Drawing Extents, draws Line Diagram, Scale Line Diagram, Identifying Columns, Retain Desired Columns, Set Columns Grid, draw Reference Lines, Footings, Capitals, Beam Centre Lines, Wall Centre Lines, Floor Slabs, Roofs, Staircases. Automatically guide the user to draw and extrude simple Sloped Roofs, gable Roofs, complicated Roofs and Creating simple staircases, straight stairs, doglegged stairs, folded stairs, well stairs, arc stairs, Spiral Staircases and so on..
